CYNTHIA TROYER

Born and raised in Amish country in the heartland of Ohio, Cynthia attended Kent State University. After receiving her BA in Film, she moved to Los Angeles. She started her Hollywood career working in physical production, PAing and serving as an Assistant Property Master.

For the past 10 years she has been personal assistant to actor Bill Pullman.

For 10 years she worked freelance for many different entertainment companies as a Script Coordinator and/or transcriber through Barbara's Place Script Specialists. These companies include Columbia, Paramount, Universal, Castle Rock, Intermedia, Imagine Entertainment, Laura Ziskin Productions, Red Wagon Productions, Mace Neufeld Productions, Scott Rudin Productions, Parkway Productions, Beacon Entertainment, Faye Dunaway, Corbin Bernsen, Dwight Yokum, Debbie Reynolds, Rospo Pallenberg, New Regency, Mutual Film Company & TNT Originals, and on a vast number of features and TV projects, a partial list included at the right.

Her screenplay "The Fence" co-written with Kimberly Brinson was a semifinalist for the Best Emerging Narrative award at IFP Market 2005, and was a finalist for the Gordon Parks award at IFP Market 2005.

"Honeymoon," a broad comedy feature script, has won a "Consider" from Creative Screenwriting Magazine, and placed as a quarterfinalist at the Screenwriting Expo 5 contest, and made it to the semifinal round at the Buffalo/Niagara Film Festival.

"Between," her horror script, placed in the semifinals at the ScriptShark Insider 2007 contest and in October 2008, finished in the quarterfinals at the Writers on the Storm III contest.

"My Amish Summer," her new comedy script, is in preproduction with JoAnn Jansen ("Dirty Dancing II") producing, and Bill Pullman executive producing.

"Cannibus Cup" a new comedy script, set in Amsterdam during the yearly event to crown the best weed in the world, is about to make the rounds.

"The Wright Brothers" a feature biopic based on the lives of Wilbur and Orville Wright is in development.

Cynthia currently resides in Hollywood, California.
